vir 'n aand vol “rock” en “fun”. Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality and Standard Bank goes into partnership Orkney- The Skills development and training committee of the District municipality is making sure that the non-financial managers officials of all the five municipalities are empowered and capacitated. Standard Bank will be sponsoring the accredited financial management course, which commenced today and it will run for a month period. During the opening of this initiative the Provincial Public Sector Manger of Standard Bank, Mr Kago Marumo explained,” Our purpose is to make partnership and make contributions across the province. For us as a bank we want to focus on the financial departments in order to improve skills of the financial officials.” The Chief financial Officer for Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality, Mr Nash Ratlhogo said that the ultimate delivery of this initiative is to produce quality and healthy annual financial statement. He further added that this is a great opportunity for the financial officials to unleash their potentials. The Standard Bank together with the District municipality will monitor the participants' performance to ensure productivity. The chairperson of the Committee, Cllr Rainy Martins thanked the Standard Bank for giving the municipality this prospect. |
