The two-day water wings & wheels festival from the 18 -19 October will be held at Water Paradise Klerksdorp Dam. Senior officials from the Department of Transport and Community Safety will be hosted by Rio Casino. The main sponsors of the day are Electro & Hydraulic Projects, Rio Casino, Kwikfit, AngloGold Ashanti, Bosal and Yourcity. The event will be wet, wild and wonderful as described by one of the organizers. She also mentioned that companies who booked stands at the event will be participating in a wheelbarrow race with great prizes to be won and this will be one of the funniest highlights of the weekend. The annual event featuring hardbottom racing, rubberducks, 4x4 tracks, quads, jumping castles, North West eagles skydivers, helicopter rides and loads, loads more will be an event to remember. The event will also be aired on Supersport so get there and support them with this great cause to benefit the underprivileged children and elderly people in the Kosh area. All funds raised by donations and entry or activity fees will be donated to organizations in the Kosh area. Tickets will be sold at the entrance: R10 Adults and R5 for children. Gates open at 08:00. |
